June Hotbuys Analysis

Hello again! I'm sorry I haven't posted much, but their truly has not been much to blog about! So, I guess I'll have to do what everyone does when there's a dry gossip spell. Talk about HB's.

I hoped I'd never have to talk about there being no gossip, but sadly the time has come. I would've thought with all the re-appearances, competitions, arguments and people leaving, there would be something I could pick up on that no-one has blogged about. But, alas, there was nothing and so here I am. Blogging about Hotbuys, happy as can be (:

Well, at least the Hotbuys are pleasing. I'll start with the good points, hah. I adore the floral dress, as I think it's graphic quality is excellent and the detail of the dress is great as well. I'm also excited about the release of a watch, because I believe it's the first of it's kind and the colours look good. I also am loving the black 'darling' tee, which I think is very flexible and a great wardrobe staple. I love the shape of the shirt as well, and i think it'll look great on everyone. The pink shoes are oh-so delicious as well, and the same design as the Philosophy collection shoes, which I love as well. I also really like the purple skirt and purple, pink and yellow dress. I think the skirt is a classy and elegant statement piece, and a burst of colour for an outfit that needs spicing up. I also have my heart set on the dress being a success. I love the layered effect and how the hanging piece of yellow material really makes the dress pop and takes it from average to glam!

And now, onto the not so glam elements of the June HB's. The necklace is average, and I really dislike the bikini top as a charm. I think it looks tacky and not HB-material at all. It also hangs very low on the model, and I don't like the way it hangs on her body. The bag, is an awful colour, and looks horrid with the dress the model is wearing. The quality of the graphic is quite good though, and the shape of the bag isn't terrible. I think the flowery skirt, looks like something even my granny wouldn't be caught dead in. I know florals are in, but that looks like a pair of curtains! And the pink jacket, just looks familiar. I don't really have anything against it, but I feel there's nothing special that makes it deserve it's place as a Hotbuy.
